Whiteman Air Force Base Youth Programs is chartered through Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Missouri 4-H. We focus on sports, fitness recreation, education and career development, the arts, health, life skills, character and leadership development. We also offer field trips, fun nights, games, specialty camps, dance, archery, instructional classes, sports clinics, lock-ins and more.

YOUTH PROGRAMS:

 

Policies: Youth Programs complies with AFI 34-144, the AF Youth Programs Inspection Criteria, and with Council for Accreditation. Immunizations, including the flu shot are required for all programs. In addition, a parent agreement and handbook is maintained outlining additional policies that are more specific to Whiteman AFB Youth Programs.

Mission: To assist DoD military and civilian personnel in balancing the competing demands of the accomplishment of the DoD mission and family life by managing and delivering a system of quality, available, and affordable programs and services for eligible children and youth birth through 18 years of age.

 

Staff Training: Staff are continuously trained in youth development, CPR and First Aid.

 

MEMBERSHIP & FEES:

School-Age Program: Fees are based on total family income and care needed. Hourly care is offered on a space-available bases at a rate of $4 per hour with prior registration. Visit https://www.militarychildcare.com to request day care for School-Age Program.


Pre-teen & Teen: Memberships may be purchased at any time throughout the year. Non-members may drop in at a rate of $3 per day with prior registration. Memberships provide additional discounts.
